Buglaries in LEYLAND

Good Evening Leyland resident.

There have been a number of burglaries reported in the Leyland area over the last 24 hours.

We are appealing for any CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage from the following locations and times:

School Lane, Leyland at approximately 8:45pm on 10/09/2026

Aldi and surrounding areas at approximately 10:15pm on 10/09/2026, and again at approximately 2:00am on 11/09/2026

Bannister Drive Shops between 4:30am and 5:30am on 11/09/2026

We are particularly interested in any footage that captures suspicious persons, or activity in these areas during the times stated.

If you believe your CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam may have captured anything of interest, please respond to this message. We will then provide details on how to securely upload the footage.

As burglaries are increasing, we ask all residents and business owners to remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

Ensure all doors and windows are locked, particularly overnight and when premises are unattended.

Check that CCTV systems, security lighting, and intruder alarms are in good working order.

Do not leave valuables on display inside vehicles.

If you own or manage a business premises, avoid leaving large amounts of cash on site overnight.
